WebApr 29, 2024 · We have introduced a new fabrication process for a CO gas sensor using a kinetically sprayed Cu thin layer, followed by oxidation at 250 °C. The resulting 200 nm-thick CuO thin layer exhibited semi-transparent optical properties. The as-fabricated CO gas sensor was tested under two conditions with varying CO Webbetween the symmetry and crystallographic structure of CuO and MgO. The monoclinic CuO has been grown epitaxially on cubic MgO.
