Use the water hoses and pressure attachment. Make sure that you spray the inside walls well. Drain or siphon the water from the gas tank. It happens to us when the washer is really full & the clothes are up against the door. I’d have a go at running the machine empty – put it on a cycle that has a pre-wash and then a boil/hot wash cycle afterwards.
